Monday February 3

Today in Western Civilization we had a catch up day where we just got all caught up if we were out sick all last week like me. Tomorrow I am taking the Mesopotamia quiz along with the other half of the class that was out sick. I think I am pretty much ready for the quiz and I hope that it won't be too hard. Most people said that the quiz wasn't that hard so I am not that worried about it. I just have to go over all of my notes to make sure that I am ready for the quiz tomorrow. I am just going to look over the powerpoint again and get last minute details that I may have missed and look over all of my notes that I already have. I also got a chance to study in class and finish this blog in class and still have extra time.

Rome by Chi Chicago

Today in Western Civ. class we listened to a song called Rome that was written by Chi Chicago. I thought it was really funny and a really catchy song. It made today's lesson really fun because it was really different from what we are used to be doing in Western Civ. class. The song had a lot of good information about Rome in it that I heard which was really cool. I really liked today's Western Civ. class.

My Freshman Year of Highschool

My freshman year of high school was one fun, exciting, stressful, and weird year of my life. There was many changes that happened coming in from a public middle school into a private high school. This year I have made so many long term friends that are my best friends. This year my school was known as the germy school because we had every virus known to earth that came through our school at some point. We started with what everyone called the John Carroll common cold and it is just what it sounds like. We also had the whooping cough come through our school which I had never heard of until someone had it. And then we had a flu outbreak which is the virus I ended up getting. Me and my best friend both got the flu on the same day and we both left school on the same day at the same time.
