Today in human geo we spent the class fixing up our blogs and comparing two different maps. The World map and Peters World map. The mercator map and peters world map are different. One reason being that the peters world map looks kinda stretched out and distorted while the mercator map looks like a pretty normal map. Maybe the mercator map looks normal to us because thats the basic map we have always seen. The Peters map looks different to us because we have only seen the mercator map and that is what we are all used too. Also the mercator map has a lot of topography while the peters map looks smooth. The Peters world map has all bolded and uppercase letters while the other map does not. The Peters map is most likely the most accurate map out there. It might look weird to us but it is the most accurate.
