Today in class we learned more about a message to Garcia. Today I learned that it was a very popular essay that it was made into a movie twice and that it was made into a book. The book sold over 40 million copies. I also learned that the quote "Take a message to Garcia" became a popular slang term. People in the military still use it today. Also the tallest mountain in the world in Alaska was named after president McKinley. We also learned some new vocabulary such as Slipshod and missive.
