Today in Human geo we picked the essay topic we wanted to do and I picked A and we started getting notes and i deas down for our essay
Today in Human Geography we took a 50 point quiz on the Demographic Transition. The test itself felt easy but some of the questions I was a little unsure about. I am starting to study for midterms and I think I am going to do pretty well on them because I studied a lot over the weekend. Tonight I am going to pick which essay topic to do.
Today in Human Geography we talked and reviewed questions that will most likely be on the quiz that we are taking Monday. I wish we wouldn't of had a quiz a week before exams because it stresses me out with studying for exams and other quizzes and tests on top of studying for midterms. We took notes on the questions that would be on the quiz Monday. We also had thirty minutes extra to complete our blogs which is good because I won't have to worry about finishing my blog at home. Today was a very laid back relaxing class because we didn't really have to do much all we did was take notes and answer questions that could possibly pop up on the quiz next week.
Today in Human Geography class we kept talking about the five stages of The demographic Transition. As a class we all went over each stage in detail so that we could understand what each stage meant. We then watched two different videos that each explained the stages. I likes the Khan Academy video because it explained the stages better for me because they drew pictures and I am more of a visual learner. This concludes our human geography class.
Today in Human Geography we started a new concept called The Demographic Transition. It is a pretty easy concept for me to grasp. It talks about mainly four different stages of a countries development. There may be a fifth stage but some people argue that there is not. We got a packet where we had to read and highlight key points about each of the stages. There is models to look at for a country to see what each of the five stages look like on a chart. We are going to have a quiz soon on this concept that will be around fifty points. There was a lot of new vocabulary to learn but I am going to study them so that I understand them a lot. But most of the vocabulary is words we have seem before. This wraps up Monday's Human Geography class.
For last Tuesdays Human Geo class I was not here.
